As the Programmatic Account Manager for Programmatic/Local Partnerships you will assist our sales organization and drive revenue across DIRECTV’s digital and programmatic products working directly with our strategic local and platform partners driving unique demand.
You will play a key part in measuring and optimizing the overall health of DIRECTV’s programmatic business, including analysis of revenue, supply and demand, auction win/loss rates, and floor pricing. You will then use these data points to drive DIRECTV’s approach to monetization (both strategy and tactics) by working closely with programmatic account management, pricing/planning, and yield & analytics teams, along with external platform partners. You will also help define optimization standards, growth metrics, and benchmarks across internal and external clients.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Build, maintain and manage deep relationships with SSPs, DSPs, Reseller/Local agencies.
- Provide a high level of customer service to DIRECTV sales and clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests, and proactive resolutions to potential issues.
- Help strategize and respond to client requests, and general capability inquiries based on client’s criteria, KPIs, and targeting parameters.
- Responsible for Direct Integrations, PG, and PMP setup, optimizations, reporting, and daily management in our SSPs.
- Partner with our Yield team to properly forecast and price opportunities for DIRECTV’s strategic partnerships.
- Strategically build out reporting dashboards to help drive revenue and provide insights.
- Provide daily/weekly updates for programmatic/local/reseller strategic partners and create documentation to articulate strategy for leadership.
- Proactively manage and closely monitor DIRECTV’s programmatic health through various oRTB platforms to ensure optimal delivery, provide bid recommendations, and maximize revenue across all DIRECTV’s digital products.
- Create innovative yield strategies to maximize revenue across all DIRECTV inventory that follow demand market trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Ops, Product, Inventory, Product Marketing) to help drive strategic project/initiatives for programmatic revenue growth.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in programmatic account management, yield management, and marketplace revenue generation.
- Expertise in working with SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, specifically Freewheel and Publica is a plus.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth through the development of strong, strategic relationships.
- Ability to work well with others and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with acute attention to detail.
- Strong experience working in MS Office and Excel including PPT, pivot tables, and manipulation of large data sets – SQL experience preferred.
- Experience utilizing Project Management/Tracking Tools (SFDC, JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and BI Tools (Looker, Tableau).
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain detailed documentation to ensure seamless execution across cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach.
- Experience with video/OTT/CTV highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
This is a New York City, NY, based position that works both in-office (2 days/week) and remotely. #LI-Remote

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONE
N4: $105,800 - $158,700
Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
