Sr Finance Technology Administrator

DIRECTV is seeking a Senior Finance Technology Administrator to support the Finance leadership team in the management and administration of DIRECTV's core Finance systems, including Snowflake (Finance Hubs), Oracle Cloud platform, Concur T&E, and other internal and external systems and interfaces to ensure data integrity and timelines through the month end close cycles.

Here's what you’ll do:

Financial Systems Center of Excellence Reporting SME

• Serve as Business Lead and SME for Finance Snowflake Hubs and associated reporting (revenue, subscribers, capital, vendor spend, et al.).
• Represent Financial Systems Center of Excellence in leadership meetings, including preparing and speaking to presentations.
• Partner with the IT teams to ensure that the financial systems are maintained, results are accurate and delivered timely during the close periods, and system enhancements made as business requires.
• Identify and implement interim workarounds for month end close issues to ensure close deadlines are met and work with IT to prioritize issue remediation.

Financial Systems Project Management and Leadership

• Represent business stakeholders and partner with IT through financial systems project implementations, including requirements gathering, identifying key controls and reconciliations, solution architecture review, data model design, and user training and acceptance testing.
• Guide the business stakeholders through the process to design and implement new best practice operational processes, including helping them to understand journal entries, data flows, and reports.
• Provide hyper care support to business stakeholders following go-live and work with IT to prioritize and resolve defects.

New Technology / Innovation

• Find opportunities to use new applications effectively for the Finance organization and stay up to date on new features in our applications (examples include Monte Carlo, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, Oracle EPM modules, Snowflake, Power BI, Power Automate).
• Partner with IT and other business areas to ensure applications are enhanced to meet evolving business requirements and take advantage of new features implemented by SAAS providers.
• Attend Oracle Cloud World and relevant business seminars to stay current on financial systems as needed.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field, preferred.
• Typically requires 3 – 5 years of experience.
• Business acumen to understand the needs of our business and how technology helps to achieve our goals.
• Strong creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management, and organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Possess an “everything has a solution” mentality and fearless “go-getter” attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $105,830 - $192,050

Low (N1): $105,830 - $158,650

Mid (N2): $111,400 - $167,000

High (N3): $122,540 - $183,700

Top (N4): $128,110 - $192,050
