DIRECTV is seeking a highly strategic and dynamic Lead Product Marketing Manager to join our Chief Marketing Officer’s (CMO) Chief of Staff team. This role is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of marketing leadership, executive communications, organizational culture, and governance. You will be instrumental in shaping how our CMO and broader marketing organization show up to employees, executives, and external stakeholders, while driving the governance cadence that ensures priorities, decisions, and communications are aligned across leadership forums.
In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to Senior Leadership, building compelling executive-level presentations, messaging, and communication strategies that inspire confidence and clarity. You will also help drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and team alignment across the marketing function.
This is not a traditional product marketing role, it is a highly visible, cross-functional position designed for a leader who thrives on influence, clarity of message, and making organizations stronger and more effective.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Executive Communications
- Develop and manage executive-level messaging, speeches, and presentations for the CMO.
- Craft compelling narratives that clearly communicate strategy, performance, and vision to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, employees, and partners.
Presentation Development
- Lead the creation of high-impact executive presentations for internal and external events, board meetings, and all-hands forums.
- Ensure messaging consistency, visual excellence, and audience engagement.
Governance & Executive Cadence
- Manage and maintain the executive governance rhythm, including developing, packaging, and socializing updates for senior leadership.
- Serve as the representative voice of the team in governance planning forums, ensuring updates, decisions, and changes are clearly communicated and aligned across stakeholders.
Organizational Culture & Engagement
- Partner with marketing leadership and HR to design and drive programs that foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performing culture within the marketing organization.
- Develop frameworks and communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and alignment with company values and priorities.
Strategic Influence
- Operate as a thought partner to the CMO and Chief of Staff team, ensuring initiatives are well-communicated, actionable, and impactful.
- Anticipate organizational needs and proactively create solutions that strengthen communication and collaboration across teams.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in product marketing, executive communications, corporate strategy, or a related field.
- Proven ability to craft executive-level messaging and presentations that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong background in storytelling, content development, and presentation design.
- Experience driving organizational culture, employee engagement, or change management initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with discretion and professionalism.
- A collaborative leader who inspires trust and influence across all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage priorities, projects, and deliverables without the need for micromanagement.
- Proven track record of driving initiatives to completion on time, even under tight deadlines.
This position provides a front-row seat to marketing leadership at the highest level. You will not only shape the way our CMO and marketing function communicate but also play a critical role in building a strong, connected, and inspired culture. If you’re passionate about impactful storytelling, executive influence, and organizational transformation, this is your opportunity to lead from the center.
