Specialist MDU Dealer Management
Sales Job ID: R250050 El Segundo, California Virtual, California JOIN THE PARTYDIRECTV is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Specialist for our Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) Dealer Management team. This strategic individual contributor role is responsible for executing MDU sales activities within an assigned local territory and achieving assigned revenue goals and quotas. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day account management of MDU dealers, drive partner sales, and work cross-functionally to support various initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in expanding our MDU market presence and ensuring the success of our dealer network.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Execute MDU sales activities within the assigned local territory to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans.
- Oversee the day-to-day account management of MDU dealers within the assigned territory.
- Engage with partners to drive sales and optimize performance.
- Track and report on sales and key business metrics, providing regular updates to management.
- Work cross-functionally with training, marketing, and operations teams to support various initiatives.
- Build and implement tactical account plans specific to each channel to meet objectives.
- Conduct regular meetings with MDU dealers to review performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
- Provide product knowledge and sales technique training to MDU dealers as needed.
- Identify and pursue new MDU sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve dealer issues and improve processes.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the company's MDU offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of dealer interactions, sales activities, and performance in the CRM system.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for MDU dealer management.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably in the telecommunications or real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of the MDU market and sales processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome sales challenges.
- Knowledge of telecommunications products and services is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic sales environment.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate product offerings to various audiences.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $59,660 - $108,330
Low (N1): $59,660 - $89,490
Mid (N2): $62,800 - $94,200
High (N3): $69,080 - $103,620
Top (N4): $72,220 - $108,330
