This entry-level project management role will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing deadlines and tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of project management skills and techniques, with the ability to effectively manage schedules and timelines. This position plays an important role in supporting project teams, tracking progress, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Manage project deadlines and tasks, ensuring all team members are aware of their responsibilities and timelines.
- Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, and calendars using appropriate project management tools.
- Regularly update project management timelines and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting action items.
- Track project progress and report status updates to team members and leadership.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Assist in developing project plans and work breakdown structures.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure it is accessible to all team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Support resource allocation and capacity planning for assigned projects.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of project management processes and templates.
- Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of project management best practices within the organization.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Trello).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of budget management and resource allocation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Working toward or planning to pursue Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
- Basic understanding of risk management principles.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $72,200 - $131,100
Low (N1): $72,200 - $108,300
Mid (N2): $76,000 - $114,000
High (N3): $83,600 - $125,400
Top (N4): $87,400 - $131,100
