This key leadership role is responsible for setting and executing the 12-month strategy for the organization, ensuring financial targets are met, and overseeing accurate and timely reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a tactical leader who can drive process excellence, make critical hiring decisions, and own the delivery of business management processes. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's operational efficiency and financial performance.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Develop and implement the 12-month strategic plan for the organization, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Lead and inspire the business management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the achievement of organizational financial targets, implementing strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
- Ensure all financial reporting and analysis is accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
- Make key hiring decisions for the business management team, building a high-performing and diverse workforce.
- Own and optimize the delivery of business management processes across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business administration strategies with overall company goals.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management practices.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and presentations for executive leadership and board members.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, consultants, and key vendors.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business administration and financial management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead corporate direction on MAM and MDM configurations on mobile devices.
- Manage configuration of mobile device oversight with Microsoft Intune and JAMF for mobile devices.
- Builds and represents data through Data Visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau).
- Manage 3rd parties for telephony cell lines, workstations, COU’s, and peripherals and makes recommendations for configurations.
- Manage junior employees.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; MBA or relevant master's degree a plus.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in business administration or financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Valid ITIL certification preferred.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Intune and JAMF or similar toolsets.
- Proficient with building and displaying dashboards using data visualization tools (prefer Power BI).
- Direct management of team members.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to drive organizational performance and meet financial targets.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring diverse teams.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices in business administration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial management software and business intelligence tools.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in business operations.
- Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to corporate governance.
- Industry-specific knowledge relevant to the organization's sector is highly desirable.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Low (N1): $105,830 - $158,650
Mid (N2): $111,400 - $167,000
High (N3): $122,540 - $183,700
Top (N4): $128,110 - $192,050
