DUTIES: DIRECTV, LLC is looking for a Senior Applications Developer in EL Segundo, CA [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to use programming language and technology, write code, complete programming and documentation, and perform testing and debugging of applications. Analyze designs, programs, and modify software enhancements and new products used in local network and Internet-related computer programs. Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Develop new concepts for cross functional initiatives. Recognize and pursue alternative methods. Develop software applications including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications. Design and develop API, Web Services design, REST, and SOA. Develop application and Unit Integration System, Case Planning, Design and Execution. Develop Methodolgies including AGILE, ITUP, and 3D. Program WSDLS, HTML, DHTML, XHML, XML, .NET, Active X, SSL, HTTP, Weblogic, Websphere, operating systems Linux, Unix, and Windows. Utilize program languages C, C++, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Jboss, Perl, VXML, XML, Microservices, performance optimization, and code Reviews.

Requirements: Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 Years of experience in the job offered or 2 Years of experience in a related occupation developing software applications including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications; designing, and developing API, Web Services design, REST, and SOA; developing application and Unit Integration System, Case Planning, Design and Execution; developing Methodolgies including AGILE, ITUP, and 3D; programing WSDLS, HTML, DHTML, XHML, XML, .NET, Active X, SSL, HTTP, Weblogic, Websphere, operating systems Linux, Unix, and Windows; and utilizing program languages C, C++, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Jboss, Perl, VXML, XML, Microservices, performance optimization, and code Reviews.
