Support new product development, innovation product development and addressable workstreams within the DIRECTV Advertising TV portfolio. This role will drive product ideation, strategy, design, development, execution and launch. Some of the key workstreams this candidate will support include; National Linear Advertising, Addressable Advertising, Digital Advertising Platform Innovation, Local MVPD relationship management and Data Compliance.

Position Summary

Develops TV advertising product strategy for products/services within the DIRECTV portfolio.

What you'll do:

Position is responsible for multiple products that fall within the DIRECTV Advertising product organization. The role will focus on product and project development and execution from ideation to completion in an AGILE development framework. The position will focus on internal and external customer needs for the various products, identifying new tactics to generate revenue, and will conduct market research. Confers with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines. Product lines may represent existing or new and emerging products, technologies, or applications.

Day to day activities may include, but not limited to: Driving the product roadmap to enable new revenue sources. Coordinating between development, testing, operations, and sales teams. Executing tech enablement and Go-To-Market strategies and clearly communicate updates to senior leadership. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues with tech partners and internal stakeholders.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with product/project management in technology or software.
  • Experience in digital media and media-related industries is preferred
  • Candidate should possess strong knowledge of Freewheel, Google Ad Manager and Digital Ad Serving platforms.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools. Background in Scaled Agile Framework, preferably SAFe certified.
