The Product Marketing team for DIRECTV Advertising is responsible for supporting strategic positioning of advertising product(s)/solution(s) throughout the entire product lifecycle and customer experience. This team develops sales collateral, competitive intelligence and thought leadership to support the successful launch and adoption of advertising product(s) in market.

The Ad Sales Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting pre, mid and post launch marketing efforts for DIRECTV’s linear, digital and innovative advertising products. This person will be the marketing expert for sales teams, and the sales expert for marketing teams. This role sits at the intersection of product, ad sales and marketing, requiring exceptional cross functional leadership working hand in hand with product management, research experts, marketing solutions, pricing, packaging, and operations to successfully deliver new and innovative ad products to market.

Team building and problem-solving skills are critical, as is a thorough understanding of the advertising and media industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support sales efforts including creating custom client pitches, identifying successful marketplace wins for case studies & thought leadership, and assisting with RFI/RFPs
  • Manage go-to-market resources and initiatives for specific verticals and audience-types, across the product portfolio
  • Lead the creation of scalable templates and processes that enable sales teams to advance the vision and strategy for DIRECTV Advertising’s strategic client partners & agencies
  • Help to maintain marketing materials including guidelines, FAQs, and sales narratives
  • Gather consistent marketplace intelligence relevant to DIRECTV Advertising’s offerings and help translate it into high-value messaging for our clients
  • Collaborate with research in analyzing data and distilling insights around DIRECTV’s media products


  • 2-5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing or relevant field
  • Knowledge and understanding of data-driven advertising as well as the OTT/CTV marketplace
  • Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines
  • Top notch presentation and communication skills to be able to convey complex products in an easily understandable way
  • Passion for the evolving advertising industry and keeping up with relevant news and innovations
  • Proficiency within PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with a high level of aesthetic and organization
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-task necessary environment
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment to ensure work gets done efficiently
