Product Marketing Manager

The DIRECTV Product Marketing Manager will support the advertising team in managing and coordinating efforts for creative campaign development, including development of the Core Creative Idea. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of the creative process and is an accountable self-starter with a passion for team collaboration.

Roles and responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Deep understanding of the creative development process to effectively coordinate the execution of campaign deliverables.
  • Oversee project development by collaborating with internal stakeholders and creative agencies on the status/timing of projects.
  • Ensure creative is routed through necessary channels for usage (legal, content, technology partners).
  • Support the team during developmental phases to gather and streamline marketing material, draft conference reports and develop/refine presentations.
  • Oversee estimates/billing with agencies and work closely with finance on budget management.
  • Effectively manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. However, candidates need to be comfortable with Pacific Standard Time working hours.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in project management at a creative agency.
  • Proven experience managing administrative needs associated with creative campaign development.
  • Proactive problem solver; candidates should have a solutions-oriented mindset to effectively manage-up.
  • Curiosity and passion for team collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of production across broadcast, digital, print and social.
  • Solid understanding of media basics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, candidates must be able to plan accordingly to meet deadlines and prioritize projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communications skills

Desired Skills, Experience and Education

  • 2-3 years of creative agency experience. Working with other Fortune 500 companies a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
